CLIMATE CHANGE ESSAY CONTEST

Imagine...it is 2067 and Canada is celebration 200 years of Confederation. 

Looking back over the last 50 years, tell your story of how Canada helped stop climate change.  

The Lieutenant Governor is inviting entries for a Climate Change Essay Challenge.  Three scholarships are to be awarded for up to $3000.  

Deadline for submission is March 3rd.  Contest is open to all Grade 12 students and entries may be submitted in English or French.  

Winners will be recognized on Earth Day during a ceremony on the Lieutenant Governor's Suite in Toronto.

PRAISE TEAM


Attention all members of the Praise Team and anyone interested in being a part of the music ministry at the upcoming St. Joseph's mass.


Our first rehearsal for this mass is on Wednesday, Feb 15th at lunch in the chapel.

ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST

The Legion is inviting entries for their annual Public Speaking Contest.  

Speakers may select their own topics and compete in English or French.  

All interested speakers must see Mrs. Koppeser by the end of this week.  

Cash prizes are available for contest winners.

GRAD FEES

The $70 graduation fee will be collected during second period in the Learning Commons this Wednesday and Thursday, no exceptions.

Your class will be assigned a time slot and you will be expected to pay your $70 fee at that time.

LASER CURLING


The curling team lost it’s final regular season game yesterday and ended up just short of making the playoffs.

With the season complete, Coach Zanutto would like to thank the team of:

UNITED WAY

Attention All Staff: The United Way Drive is well on its way. Please remember to fill out your United Way forms and hand them in to Ms. Touma in room 155 or complete your forms online.  

All forms must be submitted to Ms. Touma by Thursday February 16, 2017 so they can be sent to the board office by Friday February 17, 2017. 

After that day you will have to submit your own forms into the board office. Please remember to complete forms and hand them in by Thursday this week.

We need to bring the Laserdome to St. Annes on Thursday afternoon.

Please do your best to support our Senior girls volleyball team as they play for the WECSSA final this Thursday at 4pm at St. Annes High School


Cost is $2 per student.
