MODEL U.N.

 Attention All Students:

Please see Ms. Touma in room 155 at lunch today to sign up for the Model UN Debate Team for the competition at the University of Windsor in April. 

 Ms. Touma will also be available after school in room 255 Mr. Sylvestre for students to sign up. 

 Please direct any questions or concerns you may have to Ms.Touma in room 155.

 MATH CONTESTS:
This message is for all students writing the PASCAL, CAYLEY, and FERMAT contests.
That's all grade 9, 10 and 11 students writing math contests this upcoming Tuesday FEB 28th. 

There will be a brief meeting in ROOM 218 today, at the beginning of lunch. Hope to see you all there!

INDOOR SOCCER

The Day 4 matches of the Copa Di Rayo Laser will see 2-G-1-C versus Vicious and Delicious FC at 11:40 AM; followed by No Money FC taking-on LB FC at 11:53 AM. 

Please make note, no spectators will be allowed in the gym today to watch these games. 

Again, no one other than the teams are allowed in the gym during lunch.

PROM COMMITTEE

The Prom Committee meeting is cancelled today.  Our next meeting will be next Thursday at lunch.  

LASER HOOP

Attention all basketball players:

Your uniforms are due to Ms. Byrne by Friday.  

If they  are not handed in, your names will be submitted to the office.

MUSKOKA WOODS

Attention all students interested in attending the 2017 Spring Muskoka Expereince.
Please go to bit.ly/muskoka17 and fill out the application form.

Applications are due Monday Feb 27


PRAISE TEAM

There is a rehearsal for all members of the Praise Team on Tuesday and Thursday this week.

Could all members of the Praise Team please report to the chapel at lunch on Tuesday and Thursday.  

If you are unable to attend the practice, please see Mrs. Cabana in room 151.

BLOOD DRIVE

If you are 17 years old or older, please consider donating blood at our upcoming blood drive. Sign up at lunch, today, at the table outside of the Guidance Office. 

Please donate blood and help save a life. Encourage your family members and friends to come & donate at our clinic too. 

Help St. Joe's recapture our national title for the most amount of blood collected!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
