REMINDER

Just a reminder to ALL Lasers, that pick up and drop offs occur in the back of the school.  

Please note  that cars are to enter and drive through the parking lot in SINGLE FILE.  

There should be no passing other cars in the front of the school.  

It is a one way single file entrance.  

Students should remind their parents and guardians of the school drop off rules.  

Any student who is found not adhering to these traffic safety rules could be subject to school discipline.  

Let's all be safe and follow the rules of the road.

GIRLS HOCKEY

The girls hockey team will be released at 2:15 today (Mon. Feb 6) for their game against Tecumseh Vista. 

Come out and support the girls-game time is 3:00 at Tecumseh Arena.

BADMINTON

Badminton Tryouts begin tonight at 6pm in our gym. 

There is a sign up sheet outside the physical ed. office for anyone interested.

UNIVERSITY WORKSHOP


Prospective students and their families are invited to attend the Financing Your University Education information session at the University of Windsor.


Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.


Students can take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the financial aid options available. 

Representatives from the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office and Student Recruitment Office will be available to answer questions.

To help plan, students are asked to sign up before Friday, February 17 at www.uwindsor.ca/future.

OPEN MIC / COFFEE HOUSE


There is a meeting for the students involved in the Coffee House / Open Mic Night today at lunch in room 155. 

All students involved are asked to attend this very important meeting. 

Please see Ms. Touma in room 155 if you have any questions or concerns.

UNITED WAY

Attention All Staff: The United Way Drive has begun. 

You will find forms in your mailboxes today. 

You can fill out the paper forms and bring them to Ms. Touma in room 155 or you can go online to make your donations. 

The Board will have sent out a message to you with  the connection to the site for online donations. 


We ask that all staff  participate so we can achieve 100% participation at this school. 

A donation of any amount would be very much appreciated.

INDOOR SOCCER


Please see Mr. Castagna in CORE Services, room 151, during lunch on Wednesday, February 8 if you are interested in registering for the grand spectacle of indoor soccer here at St. Joe's, known as the Copa di Rayo!

SEMI FORMAL

Semi Formal tickets will be on sale in the Laser Box today at lunch. 

Tickets are $30 each. 

You need to have your signed contract in order to purchase your tickets. 

Get your tickets soon as they will sell out fast!

QUEBEC TRIP

LAST MEETING for Québec trippers and parents is tonight at 5:30pm in the St. Joe's Learning Commons (library)

Attendance for all travellers is mandatory!

FRENCH LANGUAGE

Attention all Grade 12 French students (Core and Immersion) interested in writing the DELF test this year. 


There is an important meeting in Room 201 at lunch on Tuesday February 7th. You must attend this meeting to be considered.

Chocolate Roses

Chocolate roses will be sold at lunch.
