DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS
To all students auditioning for the Dance Team - 

A reminder that auditions are today (Thursday) immediately after school on the stage in the Cafetorium.  

Please remember to bring your completed Information Sheet.
GRADUATION FEES
Attention graduates:


The $70 graduation fee will be collected during second period in the Learning Commons next Wednesday and Thursday, no exceptions.

Your class will be assigned a time slot and you will be expected to pay your $70 fee at that time

BADMINTON
Badminton Tryouts resume tonight at 8pm in our gym. 

That's 8pm tonight for Badminton Tryouts. 

The next tryout will be Fridayafter school at 3pm. New players welcome.

LASER HOCKEY
The girls hockey team concluded their season last night with a tough 2-0 loss to Lajeunesse. 

As always, their teamwork, determination, and drive shone through on the ice! The girls remained dedicated to their (small!) team throughout the season, and should be very proud of themselves! 

Girls, please meet right after school in the conference room for a brief but important meeting. 

 OECTA WRITING CONTEST

 REcalling all writers!  The annual OECTA Young Authors contest submission deadline has been extended to Tuesday, February 21st.  

 You are invited to submit a story, poem, play and/or nonfiction piece (essay, article or report).  Please see Mrs. Koppeser, your English teacher or the Literary Lasers board (upstairs next to the elevator) for an entry form. 

 Winners will receive cash prizes and have their work published in an anthology.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
