EVENING OF EXCELLENCE
Teachers, please be sure to check your email and fill out the forms for students that fit the criteria's outlined in the form for Major awards for our Evening of Excellence June 12th. Our deadline is this Wednesday May 29th so if you could take a few a minutes to fill those forms out it would be much appreciated. Thanks
NEW YORK TRIP
There will be a very important parent meeting on Thursday, May 30th at 6:00 for all those interested in attending the New York trip next year. It is important that parents attend this meeting.
STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS
Anyone wishing to run as a Grade Level Rep for next year's student council must have all forms handed into Campus Ministry by 3pm on Wednesday. For those who were unable to attend last week's meeting, forms are still available in Campus Ministry.
ATHLETIC ASSEMBLY
Attention all St. Joseph student athletes:
If you participated in a sport at St. Joseph in the 2018-2019 year, you and your parents are invited to be recognized at the athletic awards assembly on June 4th.
All teams, award winners and all stars will be recognized at this event.
Please check your mytools2go account for a personal invitation. Please fill in the google form so we have an idea of numbers for this night.

FOOTBALL
Anyone from grades 9-12 who are returning next year and wish to try out for football must report to spring training football camp here at St. Joe's beginning Monday May 27 from 3-5 for a period of 2 weeks. During that 2 week period you will be taught the fundamentals of football. No experience is needed. That is what coaches are for. Please come dressed to run on the field. Any questions please see Mr. Wilson in room 159
JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER
Last night the junior girls soccer team were defeated 4-0 by a strong St. Anne's team. Despite the score our girls continued to battle to the end. Special shout out to our goalie Jada Yaldo who was outstanding and made several spectacular saves.
SUMMER SCHOOL
Students, Friday is the deadline for summer school applications. All applications must be signed by a parent therefore should be picked up from guidance no later than Thursday. If you were not successful in a course semester I, or are in jeopardy of not passing a course in Semester II, please pick up a summer school application in guidance.
SENIOR BOYS SOCCER TEAMA reminder to members of the Senior Boys' Soccer team that there is a mandatory meeting today in room 153 at the beginning of lunch.
BOYS BASEBALL JERSEYSReminder: Boys get your baseball jerseys in by Thursday or your name will be submitted for detention. Thank you.
15TH ANNUAL BLACK BUTTERFLY AND BLACK MONARCH GRADUATION CELEBRATION
This year's Black Butterfly and Black Monarch Graduation Celebration will be on Saturday June 15th. This event is open to all secondary school graduates of African descent event and is free for the grade 12 graduate and one guest. Additional guests can obtain a ticket for $25! This event includes free prizes as well as special guest speakers.
To sign up and receive additional information, come to the guidance office sometime before June Friday June 7th.
