JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER
The junior girls soccer team kicked off their season with a solid performance at the Tecumseh Vista tournament.  Coaches are proud that the girls came out with a 2-0 win against Riverside.  Abby Trinka sent a clean pass through to Mary Marku who found the back of the net.  Following, Penelope Zikantas hustled down the ball and scored our second goal.  Outstanding play by our goalie Jada Yaldo!  Our second game of the day we fell short against L'Essor.  Incredible defensive play demonstrated throughout the day from the Laser defense with a shout out to Ashley Livingston and Sarah Zoura.  


POLONIA CENTRE ACADEMIC AWARDS
The Polonia Centre Academic Awards encourage and support students of our community in their pursuit of higher education.  We are looking for students who have made significant contributions of time and energy to the Polish community and a positive contribution to their school through involvement of extracurricular activities, all while demonstrating a competent level of academic achievement.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
