SCHOLARSHIPS
Many scholarships for the month of May are remaining unclaimed and several are from outside agencies that guarantee at least one St Joe's student will be awarded the scholarship.

Check out the scholarship section of the Guidance portal through the St Joe's portal, or check out the bulletin board display in Guidance or see Miss Cuderman for scholarship availability and applications.


HOSPITAL CO-OP
Any student who is interested in a summer coop placement at the hospital MUST leave their name with Mrs. Ponic in the guidance office no later than May 14.  The hospitals will be offering 1 and 2 credit coop placements.  Please note, these placements will be unpaid.


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The sand bag depot will be at 9410 Little River Road between noon and 8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Saturdays, That depot will be available until May 22, depending on demand.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to help out with the sand bags, go to the City of Windsor 311 online site and then find the "call for volunteers" application form under the "request for services" tab.

Further information can also be found under the volunteer icon in the St Joseph's portal or on the bulletin board in guidance.

You must fill out the volunteer form to be eligible as a volunteer. The City of Windsor will contact applicants very soon.


5TH YEAR
Students who are planning to return to St. Joseph's for a fifth year, please have your applications into guidance by Friday, May 10.


STRATFORD TRIP
There are still spots available for the Stratford Trip to see the play Othello, a tragedy, on Wednesday, May 15. If you need a form, see Dr. Brode asap. 
Please bring your permission forms and money to Dr. Brode in room 204 or 208 by the end of this week. 


SUMMER SCHOOL
Summer school applications are now available.  See your counsellor if interested.
