JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER
Last night the junior girls soccer team opened the regular season with a convincing 3 to 0 victory over Kingsville.  The Lady Lasers got off to a 1-0 lead on a beautiful through ball sent from Kaycee Kuizon to Grace Vinuya who made no mistake burying her shot into the Cavaliers' net.  The same duo of Kuizon to Vinuya combined in similar fashion to push the lead to 2-0 just moments later.  A nice passing play between Emily Agasse and Maryam Nuami got the ball to Isabella Petrucci who carried it from half into the ball deep into the Kingsville zone and finished her work by scoring a beautiful goal to give the Lasers their 3 goal margin of victory.  Jada Yaldo was outstanding in goal throughout the game making several key saves to preserve the shut out victory.  Great defensive play was shown by Riley Canjar, Daria Facchinato, Maddie Rourke and sweeper Sarah Zoura.  Excellent effort and determination was demonstrated by all!  Well done!
