BADMINTON

Our mixed team of Jasmin Goulet and Kyle Cruz competed at the SWOSSAA Badminton Tournament yesterday in Chatham. After many hard fought games, our team fell 1 game short of advancing to OFSSAA, and placed 5th overall in the tournament.

Please congratulate these two when you see them today. They definitely deserve it, and will be missed!

A great job goes out to the whole badminton for a great year

BASEBALL

St. Joe's baseball team fought the good fight last night in their home game at McAuliffe Park against Cardinal Carter. Despite a very close score and an early lead, we ended down by 1 in a final score of 4-3.

Special shout outs go to the following players for their grit as rookie and sophomore players against a mostly stacked senior team:  Brayden Hoare, who brought the big bats with some whomping hits.

Matty Dimoff, who both pitched and protected third base.  Ayden Bellmore showed them who's boss at second and short stop.

And additonal nods to our gr. 11 players:  Shane Tracey and Fergie Ferguson, who dominated at the pitching mound, and Aidan McGuire-Banks who literally ate dirt at first to shut their runners down.

Great game team!

Tomorrow we take on Kennedy at Central Park in South Windsor.  Good luck Lasers!

PROM COMMITTEE

There is a brief, but important, prom committee meeting today at lunch in Mr. Polewski's room.
