VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

 Volunteers are needed to assist in the Blue Heron Lake Clean up on Earth Day, Saturday April 22.  

 The event starts at 9:30 am.  

 Following the clean up snacks will be provided.  

 See the volunteer board outside of the Main office for contact information.

 EUCLID MATH CONTEST

 This message is for all grade 12 students writing the Euclid Math Contest. 

 There will be a brief MANDATORY meeting on Tuesday at Lunch in Room 218.

SEARS FEST DRAMA PERFORMANCES

The Laser drama ensembles would like to invite all staff, students, parents and friends to come out and see their Sears Drama Festival performances on Thursday, April 6 here in the St. Joseph's cafetorium.

"Une Rose snns Epine" (French play) is at 6:30 p.m

"One" (English play) is at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets can be bought at the door.  Adults $5 and Students $2

SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER

The senior girls soccer team kicked off their pre season yesterday at the Raider Open tournament. 

They had one loss, one tie and two wins. 

Congrats goes out to Athena Dimario Done on outstanding goaltending. 

Congrats to Carly Jolicoeur and Camryn Stephens on their timely goals, and a special shoutout to birthday girl Zoe Kepran for scoring 4 of our 6 goals ! 

A great start to the season girls!

PROM TICKETS

Prom tickets will be sold  from April 18 to April 24. 

In order to purchase a ticket you need to have a signed contract and your community hours completed.

JR GIRLS SOCCER

Attention Junior Girls soccer players.  

Please meet outside the phys-ed office today at 3pm.  

Please wear your running shoes and bring your cleats to the tryouts.

MOCK TRIAL 

The mock trial team will meet after school today in room 257.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
