SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB

The Social Justice Club will have their first meeting of the year at lunch today in Rm 257. 

Everyone is welcome. Please bring your lunch.

If you'd like to be a part of a group that educates about social justice issues and takes action, then the Social Justice Club is for you!

PHOTO RETAKES

Lifetouch Photography will be back on Tuesday October 4th for those students who missed having their photo taken. 

If you wish to purchase a package, please bring your payment on retake day. 

For students who have lost their student cards replacement cost is $5.00. 

Students requiring a retake on their photo package must return their photo package to the photographer.

PRAISE TEAM
This is just a reminder to all of those students who have signed up to participate in the music at mass next Thursday.
There is a rehearsal for all members of the Praise Team today at lunch and for soloists Thursday at lunch.
Please meet in the chapel.

Cross country


There will be no cross country practice tonight, but all members of the team are asked to come to Room 210 at lunch to get an information/permission form for Thrill on the Hill. We need to register runners tomorrow, and if you do not pick up a permission form and have it back to Ms. Flynn or Mrs Greig by tomorrow, you WILL NOT be registered to run. This also means you will not be able to run in the  WECSSAA meet. Again, ALL cross country runners to Room 210 at lunch.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
