Tuesday's Announcements

TERRY FOX RUN

Our Annual Terry Fox Walk for a Cure walkathon will be taking place next Friday, September 16th and students from the leadership classes will be coming to classes to collect donations. A minimum of $5 will allow you to take part in the walk.

STUDENT COUNCIL

For all grade 9 students interested in running to be a Gr. 9 Rep on this year's Student Council, there will be an information meeting at lunch on Wednesday Sept 14th in Room 154.
Again, all grade nine students who are interested in running for grade nine rep in this years student council, there will be a meeting at lunch on Wednesday in room 154.


CROSS COUNTRY

Attention all students interested in running cross country this year: 
Please meet Ms. Flynn and Mrs.Greig in Room 210 at the beginning of lunch on TODAY to sign up! 

Looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces!

GOLF

Any students interested in playing on the St. Joe's Golf Team, is asked to sign-up on the try-out sheet outside of room 169 (the Construction Shop)

There will also be a short meeting today for all interested golfers at the beginning of Lunch in room 169. Once again, that's a meeting TODAY in rooms


JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS

Attention all girls in grade 9 or 10 here at St. Joe's. Tryouts for the junior girls basketball team will begin tonight immediately after school in the gym.

Tryouts will continue Wednesday. We look forward to seeing you there!


MUSKOKA WOODS

Attention student leaders. Please apply to the Fall Muskoka Experience this year by going to bit.ly/muskoka2016.

Applications are due Friday, September 16.

BACK TO SCHOOL SALE

GOOD SHEPARD PARISH

Attention all high school aged youth: Good Shepard parish is featuring A Songs of Mercy Coffee House Evening on Friday October 7th at the Tecumseh site showcasing the talent of high school aged and young adults.  

Do you sing?  Play an instrument? dance? or read poetry?

We are seeking people who would be interested in taking part of this event either performing or helping with the planning, decorating, designing for this event.

Get involved and have fun earning community service hours!  Our last Coffee House was a blast and this is sure to be one too!
