TERRY FOX RUN

Thank you to all students and teachers who have donated to the terry fox foundation so far!!
Our total so far is $1436.
Our total last year was over $4000... Let's try and Make that our goal this year!!

Leaders will be coming around period 3 again today.

Our Annual Terry Fox Walk for a Cure walkathon will be taking place THIS Friday, September 16th and students from the leadership classes will be coming to classes to collect donations. A minimum of $5 will allow you to take part in the walk.

GAME CLUB
The first official meeting of the gaming club will take place in room 217 at lunch today

New members are welcome - rules and calendar to be discussed

 BUSINESS SHSM

 Attention all Gr. 11 and 12 Business SHSM students…there will be a brief meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Rm. 253. For all those Gr. 11 and 12 students who did not sign up for the Business SHSM last year but are interested in becoming a Business SHSM student, please come by Rm. 253. See you there!

CONCERT BAND
The St. Joe's concert band starts practices next Tuesday. If you already play an instrument and you want to join, come to room 164 today at lunch. Concert band sign-ups are today at lunch in room 164. Everyone is welcome to join as long as you already play an instrument.

If you already signed up for band and you don't own an instrument and you want to borrow one from the school, see Ms. Bisnaire today at lunch in room 164.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
