GAME CLUB


Good Day Lasers

Reminder to game club participants - room 217 is OPEN during lunch TUESDAY and THURSDAY this semester for those interested in gaming on their lunch 
NO HORSEPLAY allowed (Jacob). 
The club is always open to new members and new games but this semester we do ask that students arrive EARLY on lunch and STAY until 12:06 when the second floor is legal for travel. 
See you in room 217 on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS - en garde!


GRADE NINE DAY

Attention all Gr. 9 Students!!! 
Grade 9 Day is this Thursday, September 22. 
It is going to be a day full of fun & activities. 
A hot dog lunch will be provided. 
Gr. 9 Students are asked to check the Team Lists, which are posted outside the attendance office. 
It is a dress down day & you are encouraged to wear costumes, in the afternoon, to show your team's spirit.

PRAISE TEAM

Do you like to sing? Do you play an instrument?
If you answered yes to either of these 2 questions, or if you have an interested in getting actively involved with our school masses, then when want you!
Any students interested in being part of the music ministry for school masses is welcome to come to an information meeting and rehearsal on Wednesday this week.
During lunch on Wednesday we will meet in the chapel to begin to get ready for our Thanksgiving mass. Even if you just want to come and check things out, you are welcome to pop in.


If you have any questions, or are interested but unable to come on Wednesday, please see Mrs. Cabana in room 151.

EUROPE TRIP

Attention all students: join us, this spring, as we travel to England, France, the Netherlands and Belgium.  There is still space available for any students who want to participate in the St. Joseph's Europe Trip.  Visit room 201 for more information.
WE PROJECT (FORMERLY FREE THE CHILDREN)

Attention All Students: 
There is a meeting for the " WE PROJECT " - formally known as Free The Children today at lunch in room 155. 
Please bring your lunch and join us.

 BLOOD DRIVE

 Anyone interested in being on this year's Blood Drive Committee, there will be a sign up meeting at lunch on Wednesday, in Guidance. 
If you'd like to help with the Blood Drive in any way, please meet in Guidance at lunch tomorrow.

BUSINESS SHSM

There is a brief meeting today at the beginning of lunch for all Business SHSM students in Rm. 253. Please come right away so that we can finish quickly. Thank you kindly!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
