VOLLEYBALL

The junior boys volleyball team took one set from a very good Kingsville team last night.

An excellent start by a few new grade 9's and the usual stellar play of the grade 10's is leading to a promising start to the season.

DETENTIONS

GOLF

BIG NEWS FROM THE LASER GOLF TEAM!!

Yesterday, the Laser Boys Golf Team competed in the WECSSAA championship tournament. The team was made up of 3 players; Thomas Kennedy, Alek Mauro, and Shawn Sehra. The players competed on a very difficult Kingsville Golf Course.

Unfortunately, the team fell just outside of the top 4 for the team portion of the competition. However, there were some impressive performances in the individual portion.

Alek Mauro (Gr. 9) shot a fantastic 3 over par 75 and qualified for SWOSSAA. Great job Alek!

Shawn Sehra (Gr. 9) shot an amazing 1 under par 71 to take first place. Shawn is now the reigning 2016 WECSSAA boys golf Champion and he also wil be moving on to SWOSSAA with Alek. Way to go Shawn!!

If you see any of the players, please congratulate them on their performance. They played with class and humility, and displayed great Laser Leadership both on and off the course.
