WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6TH '22 ANNOUNCEMENTS

 DRAMA CLUB

Has anyone ever told you that you are over-dramatic? Do you enjoy playing games? Acting? Are you interested in backstage endeavors such as lights, sounds, props, makeup etc? Then Drama Club is for you! 

The drama club is having our first meeting tomorrow at lunch in the Drama room where we will talk about what time is best to meet moving forward and your hopes and dreams for what we can accomplish during the rest of this semester and for next year as well. 

You can join us on the Drama Club Google Classroom by using the join code audhlgo but the meeting this Thursday will be in person.

GIRLS SLO-PITCH SOFTBALL

Attention Laser Girls,
If you are interested in trying out for the Girls Softball team, please scan the QR code on the bulletin board outside the Phys Ed. Office and fill out the form as directed.  
There will be a brief meeting at lunch today in room 162 for all those who are interested in playing. See you soon!

JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER

Junior Girls soccer tryouts will continue today after school for those who made the first cut. 
Please make sure that you check the list of first cuts in the Gym hallway and meet in front of the Phys. Ed. Office as soon as possible at the end of the day.

DIASPORA CLUB

The diaspora Club will be meeting today in Room 254 from 11:45-12:10. 
This is a very important meeting and attendance is vital. See you there! 

POPCORN

Hey Lasers, 
The Yearbook Club is selling Kernels Popcorn all week for $1 per bag! They are located upstairs and will be selling all lunch hour long.
The flavours are:
White Cheddar🧀,Jalapeno Jack, Dill Pickle and New Flavour - Thai Sweet Chilli🌶

COURSE VERIFICATION FORMS

Attention all students, be sure to bring in your course verification forms by the end of the day Thursday.
If all forms are submitted by this day, guidance will be offering a full dress down day with a TBD date.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Any Student Council members wishing to volunteer for Grade 8 Day are asked to meet in room 206 at the beginning of lunch.
Make sure to bring your lunches with you.

YOUTH TROOP

This is a reminder that there will be a youth troop meeting at the start of lunch on thursday, in room 256.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
