GIRLS SOCCER

The Senior Girls soccer team travelled to Lakeshore yesterday and took on the mighty St. Anne Saints in the first league soccer game played since May of 2019.
The Saints took a quick two - nothing lead by the 15 minute mark of the 1st half. At that point, the Lasers started to find their game and tied it early in the second half on a superbly placed free kick by team captain Alessia Bozzi.
They continued to try to find that tying goal until the Saints made it 3-1 on a last minute counter attack as the Lasers pushed forward. Well done Lasers.
A special shout out to goaltender Jada Yaldo who was superb in the net.
