FRIDAY, APR 1ST '22 ANNOUNCEMENTS

 JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Last night, the Junior Girls' Volleyball team faced off against the reigning champs - Villanova.  The lasers lost the first two sets, but had a big win in the third set despite being down 6 players!  The lasers lost the fourth set, but they put up a great fight!  Congratulations to the Junior Girls' Volleyball team for their commitment and dedication this season!

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL

The Sr. Boys dropped a hard fought game last night against Lajeunesse 58-54.
The team battled back from a 12 point deficit and had opportunities late in the game but came up just short.
Michael Ramos led the way with 22 points. Abbas Komeiha and Shadrack Etiene set the tone defensively while Denin Lual and Buom Martin held a block party under the hoop.
The boys finish their regular season tonight at Villanova @ 4:00PM.

VALEDICTORIAN

Today is the last day to nominate yourself to be the valedictorian of this year's graduating class.
 All nominations must be in by the end of the school day (3 pm).
 All eligible nominees are asked to prepare the most exciting 45 seconds of their speech to share with their peers during the grad presentation, period 2 on Wed. April 6. You will be contacted by email to let you know if you meet the criteria. 

GIRLS SOCCER

We would like to thank all Junior and Senior soccer players for trying out over the last two weeks- rain or shine. 
The updated lists with first cuts will be posted outside of the Phys. Ed. office at lunch.
 Final tryouts will continue next week on Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy your weekend!

TAMPON TUESDAY

There will be a full dressdown on Monday, April 4th for all students who donated to Tampon Tuesday
A reminder to please respect the dress code and dress appropriately

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
