FUN IN THE SUN SPIRIT WEEK
Hey, lasers! A reminder that tomorrow's theme is spirit wear with uniform bottoms. This can include blue and yellow, or club and team shirts and sweaters.

VALEDICTORIAN
This reminder is for all students who are graduating this year. If you are interested in being class valedictorian, please log on to Google Classroom and submit the nomination form by Friday, March 27th. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Flynn or Mr. Hind.

BATTERY DRIVE
The Upcycled Climate Club will be collecting old batteries and old electronics in the atrium at lunch until March 13th. Ask your parents, friends, or even neighbours if they have any batteries/electronics that they would like to hand in to be properly recycled! Thank you in advance!

PEER TUTORING
Peer tutoring will be held in room 151 at lunch today.

EUROPE TRIP
There will be an important meeting regarding the Europe Trip tomorrow at lunch in Room 201.

COR RETREAT WEEKEND
Attention all Gr. 10, 11 and 12 Students, do you need a break from the busyness of life? Do you want an opportunity to discover who you are and who you're meant to be? If so, a COR Retreat weekend may be what you need! The next COR is being held Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29 at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Essex. Pick up an application on the wall, outside of Campus Ministry or see Mrs. Walls for online registration.

GET SKILLED CAREER NIGHT
Interested in exploring the trades? St. Clair College will be hosting a "Get Skilled - Career Night" on Wednesday, April 8 from 5PM-8PM.  This is a free event for students and their parents to explore the opportunities available in construction, manufacturing, transportation, and the service industry.  To register, please see the information posted in guidance.

MARCH BREAK BLOOD DRIVE
Attention students 17 and older: Canadian blood services need you (and your blood!). Please consider going into their donation centre over March break, located at 3909 Grand Marais East, to give the gift of life. Please see Maya Toma if you are interested or with any questions. 

CO OP APPLICATIONS
This is a message for all grade 10 and 11 students:  Did you select co-op for next year?  Have you completed and submitted your co-op application?  If not, please do so ASAP and return your completed form to the guidance office.  

UPCOMING SCHOLARSHIPS
Attention all potential graduates. Thousands and thousands of dollars are available just for you! A new round of scholarships are now available for the months of March and April. Check out the guidance web page for further information or register with YCONIC, Scholartree or Scholarships Canada to view all scholarships available both locally and nationally.

OUTSTANDING SCHOLARS APPLICATIONS
Attention all potential University of Windsor students. The Outstanding Scholars Applications are now available. The OS program is the opportunity to conduct research in partnership with a professor, outside the classroom. As full Scholars, students are paid to work in a research placement for up to six semesters. Applicants must have an average of 85% or higher and must complete their application no later than April 15th. SPRING DRUM SOCIAL
St.Clair College is hosting a Spring Drum Social from 12-5pm on Friday, March 20th at the St. Clair College Sportsplex. Student volunteers are needed to assist with this event from 10-2 and/or 2-6 and will receive community service hours. Students interested in this volunteer opportunity should see guidance for registration information. 

SENIOR BOYS SOCCER
Attention members of the Senior Boys' Soccer team, there will be a brief meeting at lunch today in room 153. If there are any concerns, please see Mr. Castagna in CORE Services.

JUNIOR BOYS HOCKEY
There is a sign-up sheet outside of room 160 for all grade 9 and 10 hockey players wishing to play for St. Joe's. There will be 2 tryouts which will cost players $10 per tryout. This will take place at the end of March and the tournament will be April 7 and 8.
