GRADUATION SURVEY
All grade 12 homerooms have been provided with a link to an important survey regarding the location of this year's graduation. Please complete this survey by Wednesday for your response to be considered. Thank you!

UNIVERSITY REGIONAL FAIR
Grads, The University Regional Fair is being held tonight at Massey Secondary School.  This is an excellent opportunity to visit with university representatives from across the province.  The event runs from 6-8 pm.

CANADIAN COAST GUARD COLLEGE
Grads, the Canadian Coast Guard College will be in the atrium at lunch on November 8 for students interested in this postsecondary opportunity.  Stop by their booth to learn more.

STUDENT CARD PHOTOS
Any student who has not been photographed for a student ID card. Lifetouch will be available at their studio on Saturday, November 16 between 10:00 am and 12:00pm. Students will be photographed on a first-come basis. Students are required to wear their uniform shirt. Lifetouch Studio is located at the University of Windsor in the CAW Student Centre Unit B-101. BLOOD DRIVE
For all those that donated blood on Wednesday, your casual dress day will be this Friday, November 8. There will be a list posted outside of the Literacy office in the LCC, and you will receive a pass in your homeroom class. Thanks again for making the drive a success! 

HOMEWORK CLUB
Homework Club will be open on Thursday night this week from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. For the remainder of November, homework club will be on Wednesday evenings from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, please stop by CORE services, room 151, and see Mrs. Cabana.

YMCA SUMMER YOUTH EXCHANGE
Students, a representative from the YMCA Summer Youth Exchange will be in the atrium at lunch today.  This program provides opportunities for 16 and 17-year-olds to improve their second official language skills, and gain important employment experience through a work placement while on their exchange. GO, ENG GIRL
This is an important announcement for female students in gr. 9 or 10, interested in pursuing engineering.  The University of Windsor, Faculty of Engineering will be hosting the annual Go ENG Girl event on Saturday, November 16 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  The morning consists of hands-on activities, guest speakers, and an opportunity to interact with female faculty members and undergraduate students.  Spaces are limited.  For registration information, pick up a flyer in guidance.  

GOOD FELLOWS NEWSPAPER DRIVE
The K of C is looking for student volunteers to handout Goodfellow newspapers in the Tecumseh Mall parking lot between Nov. 28-30.  If interested, please come to the guidance office to sign up.

SUPER SANTA 5K
The Essex Region Conservation Foundation is calling local high school students to volunteer for the Super Santa 5 km walk/run on Saturday, November 16th in downtown Amherstburg.  Two shifts are available, 11am-4pm and 4pm-7pm.  To register see the flyer on the volunteer board in the guidance office or click the volunteer link on the Laser Portal.

JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL
Lasers! It is time to rock the Laser dome!!! Tonight at 3 your Lady Lasers Junior Bball team host Sandwich in the AAA quarterfinals. Come make some noise and cheer on the home team!!! Laser dome. Immediately after school. 

BOYS HOCKEY
Just a reminder to the hockey players that made Tuesdays tryout, there is still a $10 fee. See you there!

JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL
Would all junior boys interested in trying out for basketball meet with Coach Anderi This Friday Morning at 7:50am in the fitness room hallway. This meeting will have information about the upcoming season and tryouts. The first tryout is scheduled for Monday Morning 7:15am

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL
Anyone who signed up for the senior boy's tryout, please check your mytools2go emails. A message has been sent. Please do not be late for the tryouts.

STUDENT COUNCIL
All Student Council Members are reminded of our very important meeting today, at lunch, in room 253.

DANCE TEAM
All grade 9's interested in trying out for the dance team - auditions will be held after school today! If you are unable to make these auditions be sure to speak to Mrs. Chiandussi to make other arrangements.  Grade 10, 11, and 12's will audition next week on Wed Nov 13th after school. A reminder to all choreographers interested in choreographing to meet today during lunch in the drama room.
