WINTER BALL
Tickets are now available for this year's Winter Ball taking place on December 6th at the Caboto Club! Tickets are $40 and will be available until Thursday, November 28th. Also if you have not yet picked up a contract they are still available in the laser box where tickets are being sold and are needed in order to purchase a ticket! Make sure to act fast as tables are filling fast!
CREPE SALE
We are still selling tickets for this year’s Crêpe Sale TODAY in the atrium at lunch. We have four types of crêpes:
Banane-Nutella $3
Pomme-Caramel $4
Dinde Dîner $5
Explosion de brownie $5
The Crêpe Sale will take place Wednesday, November 27th, during P 3 & 4 (that’s this Wednesday!) Tickets are limited, so get yours today! All proceeds go to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County.

UNITED WAY DRIVE
Attention All Staff: It's that time of year again. United Way forms have been put in your mailboxes. Please read the attached sheet to the form and make the choice to get involved in donating to United Way. They need your help to keep all of their community programs going in Windsor and Essex County. Please complete forms and return them to room 155 or Ms. Touma's mailbox. All forms must be handed in by Thursday, November 28, 2019. See the message on the google community for further information. In advance, thank you for your cooperation and participation.
SJV CHRISTMAS PLANT FUNDRAISER
Attention former St. John Vianney Students! SJV is looking for volunteers to act as runners for their Christmas plant order fundraiser tomorrow right after school until 6:30/7:00 pm. You will receive 5 hours of community service for your help. If interested, please sign up in the Guidance office. The last day to sign up is today.
OPTIMIST CLUB BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
The Optimist Club of Forest Glade is looking for volunteers for their 3rd annual breakfast with Santa and toy drive on Saturday, November 30th. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 9:00 am. HOLIDAY GIFT WRAPPING FUNDRAISER
Film Camp for Kids and Youth is looking for volunteers for their holiday gift wrapping fundraiser at Devonshire Mall. This runs throughout the month of December and shifts are 3-4 hours in length. SUNRISE OF WINDSOR
Sunrise of Windsor is looking for volunteers during the day, evenings, and on weekends. Volunteers are needed for the following areas: special events, van outings, current news and events, crafts/art/painting programs, coffee and chat programs, socials and birthday celebrations, trivia and jeopardy programs, meditation programs, and one-on-one visits with residents. WRESTLING
Last Saturday, the St. Joe's Wrestling Team went to Tecumseh Vista Academy and competed at our first tournament of the season. It was an exceptionally challenging tournament since it was an Ontario Winter Games Qualifier. Our athletes demonstrated class and excellent sportsmanship as their strength, endurance, and newly acquired skills were tested against teams from across Southwestern Ontario. We are so proud of them all! In the end, a gold medal was won by Bianca Luciani, three silver medals were won by Kaelyn Kapsalis, Abi Bhandari, and Avril Johnson, and a bronze medal was won by Angelina Aziz. What an intense start to our wrestling season! Wrestlers are asked to come to room 159 today after school, just before heading to the fitness center for a quick meeting to debrief about the tournament.
DANCE TEAM
Choreographers for the production will have a meeting during lunch in the drama room. All dancers please be sure to check on google classroom which practices you need to attend for the production - which will be posted by the end of the day!
PROM COMMITTEE
There will be a prom committee meeting today at lunch in room 257.
WE PROJECT
Attention all students: The WE Project meeting is cancelled for today. We will meet on Wednesday at lunch in room 155.
CHESS CLUB
Students interested in flexing their chess muscles or looking for a fun way to improve their thinking skills can do so every Wednesday from 3-4 in room 260. See Mr. Younan for chess club details.
