COPA DI RAYO
This week's Copa di Rayo match on Wednesday at lunch is:

 LBFC vs Stokes United, starting promptly at 11:42 AM



JUNIOR AND SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
There is quick meeting at lunch outside the staff room area at the beginning of lunch to pick up your hoodies. 

Congratulations goes out to the Junior girls volleyball team for ending regular season play with a win against General Amherstburg! 



CURLING TEAM
The Laser curling team was in action yesterday at Roseland in a match against Kingsville in the last game before the exam break.

The Lasers started off strong with points in both the second and third ends, but Kingsville kept applying pressure and were able to comeback with scores in the last two ends.  Due to time constraints, the game was cut short and the final score was  St Joes 3, Kingsville 7.

The team will be back in action on February 4th when they will face Massey.

Gr. 12's, this is a reminder that the College deadline for equal consideration is February 1.  Submit your applications as soon as possible.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
