LASER NEWS
Attention to all Laser News team members––this is Charlize speaking. If you would like to order a hoodie or crewneck, please see me and let me know which one you would like and your size. Don't forget to bring your money in on Thursday during the meeting. The order list will be finalized by tomorrow night.
GRAD PHOTOS
It's Grad photo time! Lifetouch will be here to take grad portraits starting on January 8th.
Appointment times will be taken quickly so be sure to sign up right away. Your appointments are made ONLINE. You can find a link to the appointment site by looking at the back of your information brochure or on one of the many posters that are hung up in the school. The website iswww.prestigeportraits.ca
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for four graduating students, each with a spare in the different periods, to help during Grad photos which start tomorrow, January 8th and run for the next two weeks.
You will assist the Lifetouch photographer with appointment booking and checking in grads for appointments during your spare. For this, you will get a voucher that you can use towards your grad photo package and community service hours. You will be required to commit for the full 2 weeks of grad photos during your spare.
Please email Mr. Kittl using mytools2go if you are interested. Or write a short note expressing your interest to be dropped off at the attendance office. He will contact you by the end of the day if your service is needed.
YOGA CLUB
Start the new year off with yoga practice and join us every Wednesday morning at 7:15am in Room 201.
If you are interested in yoga but unable to make this time please see Madame Tomaselli in Room 201 for more information.
ELF ON THE SHELF WINNERS
The winners of Student Council's Elf on the Shelf contest may pick up your prizes in Campus Ministry.
FROZEN YOGURT
Don't forget to stop by room 111 today at lunchtime to buy a delicious frozen yogurt for only $2.50. There are a variety of flavours to choose from. Thank you kindly for supporting the Life Skills program.
BOYS HOCKEY
The coaching staff would like to thank all the St. Joe's staff who helped in any way on December the 21st before, during, and after the game so that we could focus on bringing back the Father Zakoor cup to our great school. Special thanks to Ms. Owchar for designing our 25 anniversary jersey and Ms. Greig for her organizational skills for this event.
This is a reminder for the boys team that we have a game this Thursday at the WFCU against a strong Kingsville team at 3:40. You will be dismissed at 2:30.
