VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Are you in need of Community Service Hours? Here is an opportunity for you!

  Forest Glade Library is in desperate need of volunteers. Children read and play literacy games for an hour a week with a volunteer.

 Anyone interested is invited to contact Ms. Georgina Kosanovic, Book Buddy Coordinator at bookbuddy@windsorpubliclibrary.com, or leaving a message 519-255-6770, ext. 4418.

NIGHT SCHOOL
Students, the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board will be offering night school courses beginning February 19.  The courses include Fit for Life, Co-op, Computer Programming, Introduction to Computers and Cooking.  If you are interested, please see your guidance counsellor as soon as possible for more information.
MATH HOMEWORK HELP
This message is for all students taking math this semester!
Just a reminder that Math Homework Help will be taking place in room 218, today, immediately after school.

LASER CURLING
The boys’ Lasers curling team met their match yesterday afternoon in a nail-biting game against the Assumption Raiders.

 The Lasers started out slow in the first 4 ends but fought back tough scoring points in the 4th and 5th ends, then stealing an incredible 5 points in the last end.   

 The Lasers will be back in action tomorrow when they will Holy Names at Beach Grove.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
