GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Attention Lasers:

the Senior Volleyball Team has their first season game this Thursday at 4pm. Please try to come out to the gym to cheer them on!!


LITURGICAL DANCE
Liturgical dancers are to meet in room 154 at lunch.


ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB
Attention All Students: The Environmental Club meeting is canceled for today. We will not meet after school today due to the muddy and wet rainy conditions. We will look at another day to do outside clean up. Listen for the announcement. 


WRESTLING TEAM
What an impressive weekend for wrestling! Last Saturday, teams from Toronto, Montreal, and all over southwestern Ontario came out to compete at the University of Western in London. With hundreds of wrestling matches throughout the day, our team fought well, had an exciting experience, and came home cheerful and exhausted. A gold medal was earned by Bianca Luciani, a silver medal went to Avril Johnson, and a bronze medal  was secured by Raidyn Landry. Today, the competition will conclude with Miranda Iacobini and Angelina Aziz both fighting for the bronze medal of their bracket. Way to go wrestlers!


SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL
This past weekend, your senior boys basketball team participated in the 50th annual Chatham Hall of Fame tournament. The boys played well enough to get to the final Saturday night. Unfortunately, they came up short to a hot shooting Holy Names team, 103-87. Congratulations to Gabriel Rosate and Liam Gilbert for being selected to the all tournament team. The coaches are very proud of you and your teammates on a great showing this weekend. Go Lasers!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
