Friday's Announcements



CROSS COUNTRY
A reminder to all members of this year's cross country team. Our annual Christmas party is this Monday, December 17th. Please meet in room 259 after school. Don't forget to bring a wrapped $10 gift and $5 for pizza.


BOYS BASKETBALL
Last night, your senior boys won on the road vs. Lajeunesse 72 to 40. We were led by a great team effort on defense. Our next game is Tuesday, December 18th in our home gym at 4pm vs. Riverside. Let's fill the stands to cheer on our boys! Go lasers. 


SWIM TEAM
On Tuesday, the Laser Swim Team participated in an Invitational Meet at the Windsor International Aquatic Centre. They continue to make great strides as a team and by improving their individual finish times. Congratulations to Diana Pasciuta–Tennant who added the 200 Metre Freestyle to her SWOSSAA qualified races and Aiden Ferrone who added the 100 Metre Free to his. This is in addition to Diana Leschinsky, Seth Kwasnicki and Mara Pascariu who are also going to SWOSSAA. Go Lasers!

There will be a quick meeting for all swim team members in room 254 at the beginning of lunch. 

LASER NEWS
Attention to all Laser News team members, our potluck will be next Thursday, December 20th during lunch in our regular meeting room. If you have not brought your $5 yet, please bring them in room 165 at lunch TODAY.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
