STUDENT COUNCIL
There will be a brief but important meeting at the beginning of lunch today in Room 154 to pick names for Secret Santa.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Last night, both our junior and senior boys won their first game at Sandwich. Great job by both teams for coming back on the road and winning. Shout out to Wie Rath and Brayden Walls for hammering two thunderous dunks! Practice is Monday at 2:55PM for seniors.
JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Last night the Junior Girls Volleyball team played a well fought home opener against Kingsville. The final score was 2–1 for Kingsville, but it's only the beginning of the season. Go Lasers!

 All Junior Girls Volleyball team members, please meet right at the lunch bell in portable 2 for a quick meeting.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Students, are you looking for a "magical" volunteer opportunity? The Princess Ball of Essex-Kent is looking for student volunteers to assist with this event.  The Ball takes place on Saturday, January 26 from 12-4 pm.  There are numerous tasks that need to be filled by volunteers.  This event supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada.  If you are interested in more information please see Ms. Gilbert in the guidance office TODAY.
BEST BUDDIES
To all members of Best Buddies, we are having a luncheon in room 110 on Monday, December 10. If there are any concerns please see Mr. Castagna in CORE Services.
SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Please congratulate all the players you see from the senior girls volleyball team! They won their season opener last night in our gym against Kingsville. We won 3 straight games!
However, it was a very quiet gym. So please consider coming out to cheer at their next home game on Thursday, December 13th at 4pm against Villanova.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
