SOCIAL JUSTICE

 There is a very important Social Justice meeting today, at lunch, in Room 257.

 All members of the Social Justice Club must attend.

 FEMALE HERO CONTEST

 Girls can do anything.  Tweet who your favourite female hero is for a chance to win a $2000 scholarship!  

 To enter, tweet using #HiddenFiguresHeroes.  

 Contest is open until January 30th.

 LASER PUCK

 The girls hockey team gave it their all yesterday in their game against Sandwich. 

 They lost 2-0, but are ready to make a comeback with a win on Thursday against Massey. 

 Come out and support the girls at WFCU at 3:15 on Thursday!

 SEMI FORMAL

The Black and White ball, our Laser semi-formal will be held Friday February 17th.  

Limited tickets will be available.  All students who are planning on attending the semi-formal will need to fill out a contract.

Contracts are available all week in the Laser box in the atrium at lunch all this week.

Please make sure you get your contract today!!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
