Tuesday's Announcements

SEMI FORMAL

The Black and White ball, our Laser semi-formal will be held Friday February 17th.  

Limited tickets will be available.  All students who are planning on attending the semi-formal will need to fill out a contract.

Contracts are available all week in the Laser box in the atrium at lunch all this week.

Please make sure you get your contract today!!

LASER HOOPS

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Basketball team on winning 2nd place at the St. Vincent Massey tournament this past weekend.  

Overall they went 3-1 and came back from a 20 point deficit thanks to Pierre Yousif.  

Their second game was a nail bitter with 63-62 point win and a disputable buzzer beater at the end.  

Shout out to Thomas Kennedy for 26 points and 18 rebounds.  

The third game was an unfortunate loss to the Colts.  

The Lasers ended up playing against Massey for second place and the win.  

Shout out to Johnathan Helou for scoring 26 points and leading the team to victory.

LASER CURLING


The St. Joe's Curling Team secured it's second victory of the season with an 8-6 win over the Leamington Lions last night.  

The victory was aided by a couple of double takeouts executed in the 4th and 5th ends by Logan Trudeau and Jack Ross.  

The team faces the defending Weccssa champion Massey Mustangs tomorrow at Beachgrove.

ST. VINCENT DEPAUL YOUTH SOCIETY

Attention All Students:  

There is a meeting for the St. Vincent DePaul Youth Society this evening at 7:00 pm in our Library. 

Please come out and join students from across the city as well as St. Clair College and the University of Windsor to work for this very worthy cause. 

See Ms. Touma in room 155 if you have any questions, concerns or ideas!

LASER PUCK

The girls hockey team will be dismissed at 2:30 today for their game at WFCU. 

Any girls that need a ride arranged, Please see Ms. Flynn in Room 210 at lunch.

EUROPE TRIP

 There will be a brief trip for all students travelling to Europe in room 201 today at lunch.
