Thursday's Announcments

CURLING

The curling team was victorious in it’s opening A-Division game last night.  

Trailing by one in the sixth end, Skip Adam Stupnykyj executed a perfect takeout to score three in the end and go into the lead.  

The team played a defensive seventh end, forcing a blank and sealing victory 7-6 over the Holy Names Knights.  

Great job Lasers.

HOSPITALITY 

The hospitality class will try to provide 2 type's of soup in the staff room until exams. 

We will try to accommodate everybody.

FRENCH TUTORING

Free tutoring in French has resumed this week.

Get ready for exams and earn extra marks. 

See the yellow signs in the French hallway for more information.

DODGEBALL

Todays Dodgeball games are: Dodgefathers Vs. Team OFSAA Bound, Jeremys Team Vs. 5th years, and Purple Cobras vs. Hit it Fergie.

WE PROJECT

Those students doing food deliveries this Saturday January 14, 2017 are reminded to meet at St. Alphonsus Church for 8:30 am.

WE TRIP

Take your faith to a new level by travelling to Kenya to volunteer on a development project that will empower a community and your spirit. 

The WECDSB is planning a board-wide trip to Kenya during March break 2018.  

Partnering with Free the Children and Me to We, students will be able to earn community service hours while working to restore schools and build libraries. 

 A parent information session is scheduled for Wednesday January 18th at 6 pm the Board office, 1325 California Avenue.
