LASER PUCK

GIRLS HOCKEY

The girls hockey team won their game against Massey yesterday 2-1. 

Goals were scored by Camryn Pestru and Laura Germani, both goals were assisted by Zoe Kepran and a great game was played by all! 

Congrats girls on a well-deserved win!

BOYS HOCKEY

The St. Joe's Laser Boys hockey team had to difficult games this week in WECSSAA league action.

On Tuesday, the boys faced off against General Amherst in a critical game to determine playoff seedings. 

The Boys were out to prove a point against the Generals!
The Lasers got off to an early lead and never let up. The Lasers won a 6-2 decision over General Amherst.
Evan Ferguson led off with a 5 point Game scoring 2 goals and 3 assists. Kyle Brothers had 2 goals and 1 assist, while Brayden Mayea had a goal and 2 assists. 

Michael Roncone had the other goal for the Lasers. Daunte Dimario Done had a pair of assists. 

Leighton Mertz, Carter Comeau, Cayden Anderson and Michael Flay each chipped in with assists. David Robson had the win in net.

Yesterday, the Lasers went to LaSalle to face the Sandwich Sabres.
Once again the Lasers rose up to the challenge of a short bench and won the game, 3-1.
A special shout out to the Line of Brayden Mayea, Kyle Brothers, and Evan Ferguson. In the 2 games this week, their line accounted for 17 points total!
The Lasers will be back in action on Thursday Feb. 2nd!

21 DAYS UNTIL CATHOLIC CUP!

SEMI FORMAL

The Black and White ball, our Laser semi-formal will be held Friday February 17th.  

Limited tickets will be available.  All students who are planning on attending the semi-formal will need to fill out a contract.

Contracts are available all week in the Laser box in the atrium at lunch all this week.

Please make sure you get your contract today!!

GRADE 8 DAY

Yesterday St. Joseph's Business Leadership hosted our annual grade 8 day.  It was a tremendous success.

Grade 8 Night also had a huge turn out with many parents and families touring our amazing facility.

Many thanks goes out to Mr. Gilbert and all of our wonderful students and staff who helped showcase our school to future lasers! 

Your hard work, dedication and spirit does not go unnoticed.

Way to go, Lasers!
