GIRLS HOCKEY

A reminder to the girls hockey team that our game today against Massey has been cancelled. 


It will be played in the New Year--an updated schedule will be provided once the date has been confirmed.


CHRISTMAS ARTS SHOWCASE

Come out tonight to see our annual Christmas Arts Showcase at 7pm.  

You will see some of the best singers, dancers and performers St. Joseph's has to offer. 

Tickets will be sold at the door for $2.00

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY


Win up to $22,500 in scholarships for writing and speaking!  Optimist International is sponsoring an essay and oratorical contest.  


The theme of this year's essay contest is "Chasing Optimism in the Face of Challenges" and the topic for the speaking contest is "What the World Gains from Optimism." 


Deadlines are not until the new year, but you may want to work on your essays and/or speeches over the Christmas Break.

CULTURAL EXCHANGE


Interested in a three month European cultural exchange for the next school year?

Information is available in the Guidance office.

NIGHT SCHOOL

Night School Applications are now available in the Guidance office.

ST. CLAIR COLLEGE


Registrations for this FREE March Break camp for females in Grade 9, 10 or 11 is now available.          


Deadline to apply is Dec. 22.


Join us at St. Clair College during for a camp for young women who have an interest in the trades. Camps will run daily, Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. 


All materials and lunch will be provided.
MARCH 13-17


You will do hands-on workshops in:


CARPENTRY, CNC MACHINING,WELDING AND ELECTRICAL
joined by female mentors in the trades. 


We will also bring you to visit Union Gas in Windsor to explore careers in the trades at a company that values women.

Reminder to all last minute shoppers there is a christmas stocking stuffer sale going on the next few days in the LCC during lunch - free gift wrapping is also available.

PROJECT PUSH

Do you know of a family member or a friend who still needs a gift for the holidays? Are they having trouble affording expensive gifts, or are in need of new clothes?


Well on December 22 between 1-3 pm, Pushers and Santa are teaming up to give back to the community by giving out up to 100 free gifts to ensure that children have a happy holiday season.


 If you are interested, head on over to Pushers located @ 487 Ouellette Ave. on December 22 between 1-3 pm to collect your free gifts.
