POETRY IN VOICE

All students not currently taking English, but wanting to participate in the Poetry in Voice contest on December 15th, are reminded to see Mrs. Koppeser by the end of this week with their two poem selections.  

Please see Mrs. Koppeser or your English teacher for more information.

MOCK TRIAL

There will be an important meeting for any student interested in participating in this year’s Mock Trial tournament on Wednesday, at the start of lunch, in room 257. 

New members are welcome.

PRAISE TEAM

Do you like to music? 

Do you like to sing?  

Do you play an instrument?

Please come and join us as we prepare the music for the upcoming Advent mass.

All members of the Praise Team, as well as any new students who would like to join us, are invited to rehearsals this week.

Rehearsals this week are on Tuesday and Thursday at lunch, in the chapel.  Please bring your lunch with you to the rehearsal.

If you are interested but are unable to come to the rehearsals this week, please see Mrs. Cabana in room 151.

EUROPEAN EXCHANGE

Interested in a three month European cultural exchange for the next school year?

Information is available in the Guidance office.  

Please make an appointment with your Guidance Counselor for more details regarding  this new exchange program.

NIGHT SCHOOL

Night School Applications are now available in the Guidance office. 

Please make an appointment to see your counselor.

DEBATE TEAM

Attention Debaters!

FRENCH TUTORING

Students looking to improve their marks in French classes are reminded to attend the FREE tutoring sessions available in the French Hallway: Tuesday mornings and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after school.

FRENCH SEARSFEST

Students involved in the French Sears fest have a meeting today at lunch in Room 201. 

If you have another meeting please come by for the first 5 minutes of lunch to get important information.

ENGLISH SEARSFEST

Students interested in auditioning for the Sears Drama festival (English play) are asked to sign-up on the drama room door.  

There will be a meeting on Wed. Dec. 7 after school in the drama room.

LASER HOCKEY

GIRLS

Congratulations to the Girls Hockey team for their 3-1 victory over Tecumseh Vista! 

Goals were scored by Zoe Kepran, Camryn Pestru and Lane Farkas. 

Amazing goal tending by Mikhayla Angeles! 

Congratulations & keep up the great work girls!

BOYS

The boys hockey team played a good game, but lost their season opener yesterday to Belle River.  

Goals were scored by Carter Comeau and Mike Flay.

Come support Laser Puck tonight when the boys take on the Leamington Lions at 3:45 at the WFCU

CURLING TEAM

The curling team is on a roll and has recorded four straight victories.  

This week, they defeated Massey III on Monday and Villanova II yesterday.   

All four victories were decided on the last shot. 

The team plays Mondays and Wednesdays at Roseland at 3:40PM.  

Staff and students are invited to come out and watch the games and learn about the great game of curling.

CHRISTMAS SHOWCASE

A reminder to all Christmas Show participants of the meeting at the beginning of lunch in the drama room.  

It will be brief so be on time.  

The audition date as well as show times will be discussed.

CHRISTMAS DONATIONS

This year our Collection of Donations for Christmas is going to be a bit different. We are inviting the grade levels to donate. The items we are asking for are as follows:

Grade 9 - Toys
Grade 10 - Canned Goods
Grade 11 - Toiletries
Grade 12 - Money


Donations can be brought to room 217, Campus Ministry or the Chapel. 

Please bring all items in by next Wednesday, December 7.
