SENIOR BOYS SOCCER

There will be a meeting in room 153 today after school.  Practice will be Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

TRACK AND FIELD

Track and Field sign-ups are outside the phys. ed office. We will have a short meeting in the gym at today at lunch and will start practicing this week as well!

VALEDICTORIAN

Attention all grade 12 graduating students. 
If you are interested in being this year's valedictorian, please be sure to fill out the self nomination form in the gr. 12 Google Classroom by the end of the day this Friday, April 1st. 
You must meet the criteria as outlined and have 2 teachers support your nomination. 
Nominees will be contacted with next steps next week. 

GRAD PICS

Attention all graduates if you are planning to have your graduation pictures posted in the yearbook and for the graduation ceremony you need to take your picture with lifetouch no later than March 31st. 
To book an appointment you need to call Linda at the University of Windsor where the LifeTouch Studio is.
Be sure to inform them you are a St. Joe's High School Student so they will be able to add you into the file they send me.

POPCORN FUNDRAISER

Do you like popcorn? Do you like Kernels Popcorn? Do you have a favourite flavour? 
Well you are in luck, because the yearbook club during lunch hours will be selling Kernels popcorn to decost the yearbooks. 
They will be selling 3 different flavours: 
White Cheddar
Jalapeño Jack 
Dill Pickle
Each bag costs $1 and can be purchased in room 252 all lunchtime long! Room 252 is located on the second floor next to the photocopier room. 

YEARBOOK

Our next after school meeting with be this Wednesday, March 30th until 4pm. 
Please be on time and in room 258. See you there :)

DIASPORA

For the Diaspora Club members who have purchased a sweater- please meet in Room 254 TOMORROW for a yearbook photo. 
This is also a friendly reminder to leaders: if you are interested in buying a hoodie, today is the last day to do so before we begin selling them to the school community on Wednesday. Please see Miss Barile in Room 254 at lunch.

GIRLS SOCCER

Tryouts continue this week. 
Please make sure that you have your equipment and you are ready to practice outside.
 We will be meeting in front of the Phys. Ed. Office after school. Looking forward to seeing you there!

BOYS BASEBALL

Attention students interested in playing Boys Baseball this year: Please sign up using the QR code posted outside of the phys. ed. office and check your email for a Google Classroom invitation, as that is where all information including practice dates and times will be communicated. 
Our first try out will be held on April 4th, 2022. Feel free to reach out to Mr. Coop for more information.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
