JOLLY JAR RAFFLE

Today is the last day to purchase your raffle ticket in your period 3 class!  Simply donate $2 for each raffle ticket you wish to purchase and make a guess on how many Jolly Ranchers are in the "Jolly Jar!"

The 1st place winner gets to take the "Jolly Jar of Jolly Ranchers" home, along with a $20 Mcdonald's gift card. 

The 2nd place winner gets a $20 Tim Horton's gift card.

Let's work together to combat cancer!

POPCORN FUNDRAISER

Do you like popcorn? Do you like Kernels Popcorn? Do you have a favourite flavour? 
Well you are in luck, because the yearbook club during lunch hours will be selling Kernels popcorn to decost the yearbooks. 
They will be selling 3 different flavours: 
White Cheddar
Jalapeño Jack 
Dill Pickle
Each bag costs $1 and can be purchased in room 252 all lunchtime long! Room 252 is located on the second floor next to the photocopier room. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Both Jr and Sr boys basketball teams played in front of a fantastic Laser crowd last night. They did not get the results they wanted but played tough to the very end.
For the Jrs. Bryson Vonella had 14 points with King Maingot, Freddy Kanso and Mathewo Audish each contributing 5. 
In the Sr Game Denin Lual had 15 and Buom Martin had 11.
Both teams would like to thank the scorekeepers for their efforts and the amazing atmosphere our fellow Lasers created!

DIASPORA HOODIES

Diaspora Club Leaders who would like to purchase a sweater, are reminded to come to Room 254 at lunch or after school to make your purchase.

TRACK AND FIELD

Track and Field sign-ups are outside the phys. ed office. 
We will have a short meeting in the gym at lunch on Monday and will start practicing next week as well!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
