COLLECTING USED UNIFORMS
As we approach the end of the year, the collection of used uniforms by the Life Skills Department will begin.  Students will be awarded one exam dress down pass for each piece of uniform donated.  If you donate more than four articles of clothing, it will be greatly appreciated.  Collection of the used uniforms and distribution of exam dress down passes will take place in room 111 beginning on Friday, June 21 until Wednesday, June 26 starting at 8:15 in the morning until 8:45 am.  Exam dress down passes are to be used only on on exam days - Friday through Wednesday.

BEST BUDDIES
Attention all Best Buddies we will be ending the year with a pizza lunch today in the Life Skills Room.  Bring your beverages.  See you then!

VOLUNTEER HOURS
Do you still need volunteer hours and  have an interest in aircraft and vintage automobiles?

If so , the Windsor Flying Club is looking for volunteers to  help out with their 75th anniversary Fly-In Festival. The event runs from 9am to 5pm, July 6th. Free food and a chance at a free flight will be offered to all volunteers.

Volunteer applications can be found next to the volunteer board display in guidance. 

NEW SCHOLARSHIPS
New scholarships have just come into the Guidance office and are now available. These scholarship are worth a total of $6 000 or more and if you are interested in any of these scholarships, further information and applications can be found in the guidance office today and into next week.

The following scholarships are available in the guidance office.....now!!!!!

The Horatio Alger scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in a technical degree or certificate programme and this scholarship is worth $3 000!

The Riverside Rangers Minor Hockey Association has a $1000 scholarship available as well.

The Retired Teachers of Ontario have a $500 scholarship available for students who will be attending the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor.

If you are of Romanian ancestry, there are scholarships available valued from $500 to $ 1000

and last but not least The Hour-A-Day Study Club has scholarships available if you are an African Canadian student who is a descendant of the Underground Railroad and African Nova Scotians/Empire Loyalist.

Attention Mrs. Fetter's period 4 Kinesiology class: 
please report to Mr. Polowski's classroom at the end of lunch to write today's exam. 

Mr Polowski's period 4 class should go to Portable #2 right after lunch.

NEW YORK TRIP
This is the last call for anyone interested in attending next year's trip to New York. We have a few more spots available. If you are interested in attending, the first deposit date has been extended until tomorrow. Please see Mrs. Isabella in room 257 by the end of the day if you'd like to attend the trip
