STAFF LUNCHEON

ATTENTION STAFF: 

 This Friday St. Joes will be celebrating our first Together in Food Day, which will be a monthly buffet in the staff room. 

 The hospitality class will be preparing  different items for all. 

 You will find these food items on the community site. Price for the buffet is $8.00 this year. Moneys generate from these event benefit the culinary bursary and equipment.

 GRADE 12 STUDENTS

 Any grade 12 student interested in travelling to the Regional Training Centre on Oct. 24 must return their field trip form to the attendance office by Monday, Oct. 23.  

 If you have not yet picked up a form you must do so ASAP.

 CURLING

 This is a reminder of the meeting today at Lunch in room 202. 

 We need to give you information about the upcoming clinics. 

 Once again, there is a meeting for ALL curlers today at lunch in room 202. Please be prompt.

 There is a very quick but mandatory meeting today for the choir in room 256. PLEASE GET THERE QUICKLY so I don't have to use too much time of your lunch. 

 This is a VERY QUICK meeting, and I need all of you there.

 COATS FOR KIDS

 Our Coats for Kids Campaign is on! If you have any coats at home that you no longer wear and would like to donate to someone in need of a warm coat this winter, please drop it off to the table, in the atrium, at lunch. 

 The Social Justice Club will be collecting coats all week.

 UNITED FANDOM

 United fandoms first meeting of the school year happens at lunch today in room 217

 Free comic book day coming up October 28th is the main main agenda item today see fan people in room 217 at lunch today

 JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL

 Teachers please excuse the Junior Girls Basketball team at 2:20pm today for their game against Leamington.  The team list is posted on Google Community.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
