Tuesday's Announcements

Dance Team 
There is a mandatory meeting for dance team in room 254 at lunch this Tuesday. If you can not make it please see Miss Donais in advance. Dance team is looking for both new and experienced dancers to join our team. We have openings available in lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, ballet and other genres. If you've never been to a meeting before butwould like to try, please join us in room 254 at lunch on Tuesday. Rehearsals will begin after school on Tuesday until 4:30 pm. Please bring your dance clothes, music and a speaker.

Attention College Bound Students:  The College Information Program scheduled for Friday, October 20th at St. Clair College has been cancelled.  If the event is rescheduled we will notify you.

Attention all French actors. If you would like to participate in an interesting and diverse play written by students, for students, come to room 202 at lunch this Tuesday October 17th.

Attention curlers!

If you want to play Canada's game, sign ups are still happening for Curling in room 202 during lunch today! Join the noble tradition of Canadian curlers and become a Curler today!

Attention Singers!

The choir will have its first rehearsal tonight (Tuesday) after school up in room 256. If you signed up last week, see you there! If you didn't, and would like to sing, come on out, the doors are open! Singers sing, folks, so if you like to sing, come and sing in room 256 tonight after school!

The Italian Language Credit Course Classes for grades 10, 11 and 12 start today, Tuesday, October 17th at 7 pm at the Ciociaro Club.

Interested students may pick up a flyer in the Guidance office or the Main office, or you may attend tonight's first session.

Copa Di Rayo

The journey to futbol immortality commences tomorrow at lunch, as the Copa Di Rayo Laser kickoffs! In the first match at 11:42 AM 2-G-1-C takes on the Free Stylers; followed by Waleam's FC against NetSix and Chill at 11:55 AM. All players must be in proper indoor soccer attire, and all spectators are reminded that no food is allowed in the gym. If there are any concerns please see Mr. Castagna.

If you lost a pair of golf gloves, "swing by" Ms. Dzibela's room in 222 to claim them.  

Girls Basketball

The Senior Girls played basketball last night at home in a riveting game against Assumption.  After a hard fought battle the girls unfortunately lost 49-40.  The girls are working hard this season with a 3 win 3 loss record.  They are currently in 5th place out of 10 teams in the league.  The girls play at 4pm tonight at Walkerville.  Come out and support them!

The Junior Girls Basketball team is off to an amazing start this season.  Their 40 to 20 win against Assumption last night has put them into 5 place in the league.  The girls play tonight at Walkerville at 5:30pm.  Come out and show some support Lasers!

Drama Club
Attention all students who auditioned for the Drama Club.  Casting is complete!  Students are asked to assemble in the drama room (rm 163) on Wednesday after school to find out their roles, receive a script and participate in a read through of the script.  This is an important process so please be sure to attend.

Debate Team

There will be a debate team practice Tuesday and Thursday after school in room 255.
