LASER NEWS

This is a reminder to all members of the Laser news team-please meet in Room 210 at the beginning of lunch. Bring your lunches!

PHOTO RETAKES

LifetouchPhotography will be back on Friday October 6th  for those students who missed having theirphoto taken.  Students requiring a retake on their photo package must return theirphoto package to the photographer.

DANCE TEAM

Dance team will meet on stage this Thursday after school. Anyone interested in Dance Team is asked to attend. Those who indicated an interest in choreographing will be asked to show a minute or more of their dance. Please come wearing proper clothing and bring the music you will need on your phone. You must know the artist, the length of the song and the number of dancers required. Those who are not already involved in a number do not need to change for this meeting. See you Thursday.

UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN ONTARIO

Attention Grads:  University of Western Ontario will be outside the Guidance office at lunch today.  Please feel free to visit the representative to ask questions and receive valuable information.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Cross country team performed well at Thrill on the Hill last Thursday! In particular, impressive finishes were seen by Jackson Dollar and Simon Edmonson, who placed 21st and 23rd respectively in the Junior Boys division; Mateo Aleksic, who placed 22nd in the Senior boys 6km race, and superstar Nicole Larue, who came in SECOND in the Senior Girls 6km race! Practice resumes after school today.

BLOOD DRIVE

Calling anyone 17 years old or older!!! You are invited to donate blood & help save a life! There will be a table outside the Guidance Office, at lunch, for anyone who would like to sign up to donate blood at our upcoming Blood Drive. If you are under 17, please encourage your family members and friends to donate!

SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB

Anyone wishing to be a part of a club that promotes social justice and works to make a change within our community as well as helps people in need, please consider joining our Social Justice Club! Our first meeting will be this Wednesday, at lunch, in Room 257. Please bring your lunch.

BEST BUDDIES

To all students who completed an application for Best Buddies, this year's Best Buddies' will posted outside of CORE Services. Also, a reminder to all successful applicants that our first meeting will take place this Thursday, October 5 in room 153. If there are any concerns please see Mr. Castagna.

CANADA 150 PASSPORTS

Homeroom Teachers are reminded to hand in your envelopes of Canada 150 Passports. Please be sure to bring them to Campus Ministry as soon as possible in order for your class to be considered in the "homeroom with the most school spirit" contest!

COPA DI RAYO LASER

The Copa Di Rayo Laser returns for its fourth illustrious season. Any students interested in participating in this 4 V 4 intramural futsol tournament please see Mr. Castagna at lunch during this week In CORE Services. All are welcome!

TENNIS

Attention tennis players, this Tuesday will be our last practice. Meet at Forest Glade Courts at 3:30 Tuesday. Dont forget the tournament on Thursday morning. Players will be excused.
