ANNOUNCEMENTS


AM800 CAN DRIVE

Just a reminder that we are still collecting non-perishables for the AM800 can drive! That includes canned goods, dry goods, dehydrated fruits and vegetables and any other food items that don’t require refrigeration. You have until December 9th to bring your donations to your period 1 class!


CHRISTMAS SHOWCASE

YOU’RE Invited to watch our “Christmas Showcase” on Wednesday Dec 14th 2022. There will be a Period 4 whole class buyout for $2 per student, contact Mrs Chiandussi to reserve your spot - spaces are limited!

There will be an evening performance of our "Christmas Showcase" for all to watch starting at 7 pm . Cost for the evening performance is $5 -  Kids 12 and under are free! Come out and support the Music & Dance Department


WRESTLING TEAM

You must attend practice after school today and you must have already paid your fees to School Cash Online if you plan to compete this Saturday. We need to send in your verified weights to register you tonight for the tournament. 


JR. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Last night, the jr. girls volleyball team kicked off their season by travelling to Villanova to face a very good jr. girls team. Your Lady Lasers played remarkably well and pushed Villanova to the brink, narrowly losing the first two sets. The coaches are very proud of the effort displayed last night and look forward to great things this season. The team plays their home opener tomorrow night at 5:20 in the LaserDome...see you there!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
