ANNOUNCEMENTS


AM800 CAN DRIVE

Just a reminder that we are still collecting non-perishables for the AM800 can drive! That includes canned goods, dry goods, dehydrated fruits and vegetables and any other food items that don’t require refrigeration. You have until December 9th to bring your donations to your period 1 class!


WRESTLING TEAM

Attention Wrestlers,

if you are planning to compete in the Windsor Wrestling Christmas Invitational this Saturday, December 10, then you must attend practice this Wednesday to confirm, to verify your weight, and to try on your singlet. Please make sure that you have paid your fees, through School Cash Online or through the main office, to pay for this event and the other tournaments in January. If you are 15 years old or younger, this Saturday's tournament will also be the regional qualifier for the upcoming Ontario Winter Games. See Mrs Carpio-Sementilli if you have any questions


YOUTH TROOP

There will be a meeting for all members of the Youth Troop, today at lunch in room 254.


BOYS HOCKEY

The senior boys hockey team opened their season with a 5-2 victory over Holy  Names. All 3 lines were rolling and contributed to the win. The boys are looking to go 2-0 on Thursday at the WFCU when they take on St Anne’s at 3:30 pm for their home opener. Get hyped and come support the boys hockey team this Thursday!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
