JOB OPPORTUNITY 
Lasers, there is a terrific job opportunity for those of you who love animals.  Tecumseh Animal Hospital is looking for a student to work two weekends a month as a kennel attendant.  Please see guidance for more information.
BLOOD DRIVE DRESS DOWN


The dress down day for students who gave blood on last Tuesday will be this Friday, Feb 22. You will receive a dress down pass in your homeroom class, and a list of eligible students will be posted on the door of the literacy office. 
AFTER SCHOOL LITERACY PROGRAM
This is a reminder to all students who have registered for the after school literacy program. After school literacy takes place every Tuesday and Thursday in the LCC from 3-4. Regular attendance at these sessions is crucial to benefit from the program. Please let Ms. Flynn know if you cannot make it on any given day. Hope to see you there!

TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS
Talent show auditions are today and tomorrow after school.  If you have not registered to audition for the talent show then follow the instructions on the poster to the left of the music room door.  Auditions for the talent show are today after school as well as tomorrow after school.





MATH CONTESTS
Good Morning,
This is a final announcement for all students interested in writing this year's Math Contests. 
Anyone from grades 9, 10, 11 must please come see Mr. Nohra in room 218 today at lunch time if you're interested.

DUAL CREDIT
This is a reminder to the dual credit students that the bus for St. Clair College departs at 12:20 today.  Please be waiting in front of the school 15 minutes prior to the departure time.  

UNITED FANDOMS CLUB
There will be an important fandom meeting today at lunch in room 217 regarding the upcoming talent show - all members are encouraged to attend this united fandoms meeting today

GRAD FEES
This is an important reminder that grad fees are due next week. Your homeroom class has been assigned a date to come to the LCC to pay the fee and complete the information form online. Please see the blue info sheet, or the graduation tab on the portal if you have any questions. See Mr. Hind or Ms. Flynn with any additional questions.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
