COURSE SELECTIONS
Lasers, this is a reminder that your course selections and $50 activity fee are due NO LATER than March 1 (THIS FRIDAY!). You must complete and hand-in your co-op applications as well. Guidance counsellors will be available in the library computer lab TODAY, at lunch for those requiring assistance with selecting their courses in Career Cruising.


TALENT SHOW
If you would still like to audition and haven't done so already, then please register to audition by following the instructions to the left of the music room door.  Additional auditions will be held Wed. Feb. 27 and Thurs. Feb. 28th.  


GRAD FEES
This is an important reminder that grad fees are due THIS WEEK. Your homeroom class has been assigned a date to come to the LCC to pay the fee and complete the information form online. Please see the blue info sheet, or the graduation tab on the portal if you have any questions. See Mr. Hind or Ms. Flynn with any additional questions. 


CANNABIS AWARENESS NIGHT
There will be an educational presentation about drug abuse and the dangers of smoking TONIGHT at St. Joe's from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for parents.


CONSIDERING A CALL TO THE PRIESTHOOD?
If you are considering a call to the Priesthood, St. Peter's Seminary is hosting an event this weekend, March 1-3, in London. The weekend will offer a first-hand experience of the life of a seminarian and a chance to meet current seminarians and faculty. For more information please see Mr. Polewski or Mrs. Walls.



RETREAT OPPORTUNITY
Students in Gr. 10, 11 or 12 are invited to attend a weekend retreat in Essex from Friday April 5 to Sunday April 7. If you're looking for a fun weekend and an opportunity to get away from the busyness of life and a chance meet new people, then this retreat is for you! Please see Mrs. Walls in Campus Ministry for more information and application forms.



TAMPON TUESDAY
Windsor High Schools have been invited to join in a friendly competition to collect products for an annual fundraiser called Tampon Tuesday. The goal is to collect the most feminine hygiene products by this Thursday, February 28th to support local food banks and shelters. The winning school will receive $500 to donate to the charity of their choice. All donations of feminine hygiene products may be dropped off to Campus Ministry or the Chapel.  



OPEN HOUSE
Attention all Grade 12's going to the University of Windsor next year. The University of Windsor is having its Spring Open House this coming Saturday March 2nd.


SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
A gentle reminder to all students who have applied to go to the University of Ottawa, the President's and Chancellor's Scholarship is due this Friday, March 1st. Further information can be found on the Guidance link through the St Joseph's Portal. These scholarships have a value from $26 000 to $30 000.


POETRY IN VOICE
Those students going to Kitchener this Friday, March 1 for the Poetry in Voice Competition, please report to room 208 at lunch today. It is important that you meet with Dr. Brode in room 208 today to confirm your attendance, submission of permission form and receive important information.


EUROPE TRIP MEETING
Attention all students going on the 2019 Europe Trip.
There is a meeting today at lunch in room 201.  Please bring your lunch and be prompt.


WE PROJECT/ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
The meeting at lunch today has been canceled we will meet next Tuesday.



STUDENTS FOR GLOBAL AWARENESS
There is a meeting today at lunch in room 155 and  any teachers interested in helping with the group Students for Global Awareness are invited to come. A special invite to the following teachers Mrs. Walls, Mr. Barron, Mme. Tomaselli, Mrs. Owchar, and Mr. Wilson. Please bring your lunch and join us in room 155.


PINK SHIRT DAY
Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day! The Social Justice Club would like to encourage everyone to practice kindness and to wear pink shirts tomorrow to show that we do not tolerate bullying. Please show your support tomorrow by wearing a pink shirt with your uniform bottoms.



FANDOMS CLUB
Happy Tuesday, Lasers! It’s a big week for the United Fandoms Club. Reminder to those involved in the QUEEN tribute that we will meet in the music room after school today. Tomorrow the club will meet in room 217 at lunch as usual to continue work on the QUEEN posters.

If you play guitar, and want to be part of something, come to room 212 today to join the GUITAR ARMY!!! You don't need a guitar today, but we will plan, and PLAN WE WILL to take over the....

STAFF DINING LOUNGE
This is a reminder that the dining lounge in room 160 will open this Tuesday. Menus for the week will be posted every day in our community folder. This is a chance for new staff to come down for lunch if you did not bring one.
