ANNOUNCEMENTS


ANTI-BULLYING WEEK

Hey lasers, this week, you can make someone’s day brighter by purchasing a glow in the dark bracelet for $2 and sending them a Let it Glow card. Each bracelet will act as a dress down pass for December 2nd. These cards and bracelets will be sold at lunch in the atrium and all proceeds will be used by the STJustice League to support spiritual, emotional, mental and physical needs of the St. Joseph’s community. Keep in mind that there are a limited number of bracelets being sold, so don’t wait too long to come get them :)

Today's activity for Anti-Bullying week will be held in the atrium at lunch. The STJustice League will be creating a "Take What You Need" and "Give What You Can" bulletin board, in the atrium at lunch. Join us while we bring awareness to Anti-Bullying Week.


JACK CHAPTER

Attention all members of the Jack.org chapter, there will be a mandatory meeting in the Jack room at 11:30. 


CHESS CLUB

Any student wishing to play chess during lunch is welcome to come to room 255 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  All levels of experience are welcome!  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Sylvestre. 


NEW YORK TRIP

There will be a very important announcement for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. All students are required to attend. 


BOYS HOCKEY

There is an exhibition game for the boys hockey team tomorrow at 3pm at Tecumseh Arena against L'Essor.  The list of the players who are invited to play in the game is posted outside CORE Services. The cost for the game is $10 per player.  Please pay Mrs. Greig as soon as possible.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
