Attention staff, there will be 2 soups in the staff room today - chicken noodle and potato dill for a dollar per bowl.
TUTOR NEEDED
Looking for community service hours? A family in our area is looking for a math tutor for a grade 7 student. If interested, please see Ms. Gilbert in guidance as soon as possible.
MODEL UN DEBATE TEAM
Attention All Students: There is a meeting of the Model UN Debate Team today at lunch in room 155. We are in need of additional members to participate in the G7 Summit taking place at the Caboto Club on October 18, 2019. School Council will be sponsoring students to attend the G7 Summit. If you are thinking about a career in Politics, Law, and any type of Leadership this would be an excellent experience for you to add to your resume for the university or college you plan to attend. Come out and join us at lunch in room 155 or see Ms. Touma in room 155 after school today.
GSA
Our GSA is having its first information meeting today in the chapel at lunch. Information meetings focus on a specific topic that has been researched thoroughly and discussed with the group. This week's topic is Pansexuality and gender blindness. You do not have to be a member of GSA, or in the LGBT+ community to come, everyone is welcome to come to learn and support, today in the chapel at lunch.

There will be a Laser News meeting today at lunch in room 258. We are always looking for new members and are currently in need of more writers. If you are interested in writing about current events, clubs, sports, or special events at the school, please come and check us out today in room 258!

Congratulations Lasers!! The totals for the Terry Fox Foundation are in!! With all the T-shirt sales and donations fully collected, we raised a grand total of $4, 868!! That's just shy of $5,000! A great big thank you to everyone involved and all donors!!
PHOTO RETAKES
Lifetouch Photography will be here Thursday, October 3rd to take pictures of students who missed having their photo taken. These pictures are for your I.D. cards, yearbook and picture packages. If you are having a photo package retake, you must return your entire original package to the photographer. Replacement for lost I.D. cards will be taken for a cost of $5.00.
