MRS. D'ALIMONTE'S PERIOD 3 CLASS
A reminder to Mrs. D’Alimonte’s period 3 class - please report directly to portable 1 today at the beginning of period 3 to write the practice literacy test. Thank you. 

BLOOD DRIVE
Blood typing will take place in the atrium at lunch today, Tuesday, October 15. Please also come out if you'd like some information on donating blood, and to sign up to donate on October 30. You must be 17 or older to donate blood, and signups will continue all this week at lunch in the atrium. 

CORE FRENCH HOODIES
Attention all Lasers in Core French first and second semester. Laser Français hoodies are available for purchase this week only. These hoodies are considered Friday spirit wear. Come see Mademoiselle Lapico in room 203 for more details.

ROSARY
Need to start the week off on the right foot? Join us in the chapel at the beginning of lunch today to pray the rosary. 

FRENCH TRIP
Are you in core French or in French immersion?  Are you interested or planning on coming on a trip to explore fun things in Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City?  Come out TODAY at lunch for a meeting in room 203.  This amazing trip needs you to come to room 203 today at lunch.  See you shortly!!!

COATS FOR KIDS
Each year, before the snow begins to fall, our community rallies together to collect as many gently used coats, hats, and mitts as possible for anyone in Windsor & Essex County who is in need. Our Social Justice Club invites you to support this great cause by bringing any donations of gently used coats, hats or mitts to the Chapel by Friday, October 25. 

OPTIMIST CLUB HALLOWEEN PARTY
The Optimist Club of Forest Glade is looking for volunteers for their annual Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, Oct. 26th at Forest Glade Community Center anytime between 1:30-8:30.  Help is needed for set up, registration, kitchen help, craft and raffle table, handing out candy apples, cotton candy/popcorn area, and clean up.  For more information, click on the volunteer button on the guidance portal, visit the volunteer board in the guidance office, or call/email Barbara at 519-979-6118/matis@mnsi.net.

SENIOR CITIZEN TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM
For any students needing volunteer hours, there is a senior citizen technology/activity program beginning in the fall that is looking for high school students to help run. CROSS COUNTRY
Attention cross country team members. There is a meeting at lunch today in room 205.

SWIM TEAM
A reminder to the team, our first practice is Tuesday at the WFCU Centre. Don't forget to bring your bathing suit and a towel.

CURLING TEAM
To all students who have signed up for the 2019-2020 Curling season ... There will be a brief but Mandatory meeting in room 202 at lunch, on Wednesday, October 16th. All players must attend this meeting.

GIRLS HOCKEY
Attention all girls who are interested in playing for the St. Joe's girls hockey team. Our first try out is Wednesday, October 16th at 3:20 at the WFCU Centre. Please bring your 10 dollars to the session. If you have not signed up yet, you can do so at the arena. We are looking for more skaters in Grades 9 and 10 who may be interested in playing.

30TH ANNIVERSARY SLAM POEM
Christina Blanc, Rebecca Asante and Keagan Yap are asked to meet in Room 206 for a lunch rehearsal today.

I AM LASER RANT
A reminder to students performing the Laser Rant for the 30th Anniversary, please meet with Mrs. Isabella in room 257 today at lunch.

STUDENT COUNCIL
A reminder that there is a Student Council meeting at lunch today in room 253. It is a mandatory meeting, however, if you are going to Muskoka and must attend the Muskoka meeting you do not need to come to the Student Council meeting today!
