FRENCH TRIP 2020
Attention French immersion and Core French students! If you're interested in travelling to Ottawa, Québec City, & Montréal in April 2020 please attend this brief but important meeting today in room 203. Merci!

NEW YORK TRIP
There will be a brief but important meeting for all those attending the trip to New York today at the beginning of lunch in room 257. 

YOUTH OPPORTUNITY
The "Youth Alpha Course" is starting at Most Precious Church, next Wednesday, October 16. These amazing sessions are open to anyone in grade 9 & up. Doors open at 6:15pm and dinner is served each week at 6:30pm. If you are searching, if you are questioning, if you just need a faith "boost", try Alpha. Contact Mrs. Walls in Campus Ministry for more information.

TD TREE DAY
If you are looking for a fun way to get involved with your community and earn your volunteer hours then TD Tree Day is the perfect event for you! Tree planting will take place on October 26 at Florence and Wyandotte from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  If you are interested in earning some hours and helping to create a green space in our community, please see Ms. Gilbert in guidance to sign-up.  

FOOTBALL
The laser football team dominated yet another team in their commanding 48 to 0 win over LaJeunesse yesterday at LaJeunesse.  An entire team effort proved unstoppable and honourable mention goes out to Sterling Trameger and Jairus Mugenzi for 2 two touchdowns each and Steven Elford, Brian Tonkin, Daniel Pahuyo for remaining touchdowns.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
