EUROPE TRIP
All students attending the Europe 2019 trip:
There will be a meeting today at lunch in Room 201.


YOGA CLUB
Yoga will resume this week.
Sessions will be Tuesday after school and Wednesday mornings in Room 201.

DANCE CREW
This is a reminder to members of the Dance crew - you must bring your permission forms and money to practice after school TODAY. Please see Mrs. D’Alimonte if you need a form. 


SENIOR BOYS SOCCER
Training sessions begin TODAY immediately after school on the side field. Please dress appropriately for the weather with cleats.


If there are any concerns, see Mr. Castagna in CORE Services.


WE PROJECT/ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
Attention All Students: There is a meeting for the WE Project/ St. Vincent DePaul Society today at lunch in room 155. Please bring your lunch and join us in planning our next event. New members are always welcome. Thanks! Ms. Touma


SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER
This is a reminder to all girls trying out for the senior girls soccer team that there is a practice today at Central Park Athletics from 3:30-4:30. If you are attending both sessions the cost is $25 if you attend only one it is $15.


COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
Any grade 11 or 12 students needing community service hours, please see Ms Flynn in the literacy office in the LCC at lunch Wednesday or Thursday for more information.


LITERACY TEST
Reminder to grade 10 students writing the OSSLT this year- check out the Laser Literacy site which can be accessed through the student portal for some helpful preparation before next week's test! You've got this, Lasers! 


AFTER SCHOOL LITERACY
Reminder that there are only three more sessions of after school literacy before the test. Tonight, Thursday and next Tuesday the 26th from 3-4 in the LCC. Anyone is welcome to join us for the last few sessions!


VALEDICTORIAN
Grade 12's are reminded that valedictorian self-nominations are due next Tuesday March 26. The form can be accessed through the graduation site, which is on the student portal. Please pay close attention to the eligibility criteria before submitting the form. 


MARCH MADNESS
Laser nation! Now that the Copa is over, and March Madness is upon us it is time to find out who rules the courts! Starting next week lunch ball is going next level as we begin the St Joe`s 3 on 3 basketball tournament! Cost is $5 per team member and sign up is taking place this week at the phys ed office. So get your crew together. Get signed up and get ready to ball out! See Mr Fuerth or Mr Gebrael if you have any questions.


ST. CLAIR COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE
St. Clair College will be having an Open House this Saturday, March 23 from 10 am to 1 pm at all campuses. 

- Faculty will be on hand to answer any questions students and parents may have about their programs
- Tours will be available in all of the program related labs, Student Support Services area, Residence and any athletic facilities
- Student leaders will also be on-hand to answer questions about student/college life
- Registration and Financial Aid representatives will be available to answer questions
- Enter a ballot to win a financial credit toward first semester tuition and other great prizes
- Refreshments will be available



Indspire – Ted Rogers High School Exemplary Renewable Post-Secondary Award
Scholarship Fund (For Indigenous Students).
This is a $2500 renewable award for students entering full-time studies in a first two-year college program or a first four-year undergraduate program at a Canadian accredited college or university in fall 2019.

Applicants MUST have strong leadership and commitment in their school and/or community.

UNITED FANDOMS CLUB
A big thank you to all the fandom members who helped with the Queen tribute at the talent show, both on and off stage  - our next meeting will be next Wednesday at lunch, March 27th. New members and the magic players are welcome 


TRIVIA TEAM
There is a trivia team practice today at lunch in the art room to get ready for our match after school tonight.


TRACK AND FIELD
The Track and Field season is here! 
If you are interested in being part of our Lasers Track and Field team, please sign up at the Phys. Ed office.  


PROM BAKE SALE
Mark your calendars, Lasers. The Prom Bake Sale is taking place on March 21 in the atrium Come treat yourself with sweet goodies before the big day. All proceeds will help us make your night more magical!


PROM FREE TICKET

Do you want a chance to win a free ticket? Follow @stjprom19 on Instagram to enter the draw, and that's it! The winner will be announced on April 12. The winner MUST be a Grade 12 student attending St. Joseph's Catholic High School. 

If you would like a chance to be entered into a separate draw for a FREE ticket, you can bring in your own baked goods or sweet treats before lunch on March 21st for the bake sale. You cannot win both draws. One person will be chosen for each.
