COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
Any grade 11 or 12 students needing community service hours, please see Ms Flynn in the literacy office in the LCC at lunch TODAY or TOMORROW for more information.

LITERACY TEST
Reminder to grade 10 students writing the OSSLT this year- check out the Laser Literacy site which can be accessed through the student portal for some helpful preparation before next week's test! You've got this, Lasers! 

AFTER SCHOOL LITERACY
Reminder that there are only two more sessions of after school literacy before the test:  Thursday and next Tuesday the 26th from 3-4 in the LCC. Anyone is welcome to join us for the last few sessions!


VALEDICTORIAN
Grade 12's are reminded that valedictorian self-nominations are due next Tuesday March 26. The form can be accessed through the graduation site, which is on the student portal. Please pay close attention to the eligibility criteria before submitting the form. 


MARCH MADNESS
Laser nation! Now that the Copa is over, and March Madness is upon us it is time to find out who rules the courts! Starting next week lunch ball is going next level as we begin the St Joe`s 3 on 3 basketball tournament! Cost is $5 per team member and sign up is taking place this week at the phys ed office. So get your crew together. Get signed up and get ready to ball out! See Mr Fuerth or Mr Gebrael if you have any questions.


ST. CLAIR COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE
St. Clair College will be having an Open House this Saturday, March 23 from 10 am to 1 pm at all campuses. 

- Faculty will be on hand to answer any questions students and parents may have about their programs
- Tours will be available in all of the program related labs, Student Support Services area, Residence and any athletic facilities
- Student leaders will also be on-hand to answer questions about student/college life
- Registration and Financial Aid representatives will be available to answer questions
- Enter a ballot to win a financial credit toward first semester tuition and other great prizes
- Refreshments will be available


Indspire – Ted Rogers High School Exemplary Renewable Post-Secondary Award
Scholarship Fund (For Indigenous Students).
This is a $2500 renewable award for students entering full-time studies in a first two-year college program or a first four-year undergraduate program at a Canadian accredited college or university in fall 2019.

Applicants MUST have strong leadership and commitment in their school and/or community.

5TH YEAR STUDENTS
Attention all seniors who are considering returning for a 5th year next year. Please join us in the Cafeteria on Tuesday March 26th at 9:45 am for an information session and application distribution.

If you are interested in being part of our Lasers Track and Field team, please sign up at the Phys. Ed office.  


TRIVIA TEAM
Attention Trivia Team members: Today's game against L'Essor has been cancelled.  We will have practice tomorrow at lunch.  See you there.


PROM BAKE SALE
Attention senior Lasers, today is the big day. Not prom, but the prom bake sale. Make sure you bring your change and buy some baked goodies and sweet treats. All funds raised will go towards making YOUR night more magical. If you brought your own goodies to sell, bring them to the atrium right now for a chance to win a free ticket.
